The D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) course in India is a 2-year diploma program focused on pharmaceutical education and practice. The curriculum includes subjects such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, and hospital pharmacy. Students gain knowledge and skills in drug dosage forms, drug dispensing, drug interactions, pharmaceutical calculations, and basic clinical pharmacy practices. After completing the program, graduates can work as pharmacy technicians in retail pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. They can assist in drug dispensing, patient counseling, inventory management, and other pharmacy-related activities. D.Pharm graduates can also pursue higher education options or upgrade to the B.Pharm program.
